Fatherhood II

Linoleum was the first printmaking technique I used.

In this work I wanted to represent a family model that is widely accepted today, but which in 1996 was still strange.

A father holds his son in his arms in the dark. Meanwhile, above his head, the image of a woman's naked body appears.

Most of the work is a black stain, but the window sheds light on the scene and becomes a symbol of hope.
